Substencia

Based in Paris, Substencia is a musician and producer who has been involved in the electronic music scene for many years in various capacities: live performances and DJ sets, labels, webzines, and event planning. For the past ten years, she has been crafting dark and percussive industrial techno, which fuses cinematic atmospheres and destructive rhythms with a noisy post-rave universe with the duo Kabocha. Her career has led her to perform in Europe, notably in iconic clubs such as Tresor and Moog. In early 2024, she launched Rust, a webzine entirely dedicated to alternative electronic music, offering video interviews, reviews, and more to come.
